Getting To The Race
Due to current health and safety guildelines we will not be offering a shuttle bus service this year. The good news is that we have plenty of parking within walking distance of the race start.
Parking is available at the 6th Cavalry Museum. To ensure a prompt start of the race, on-site parking closes at 6:45 am (EST). Please arrive before 6:45am if you plan to park on site.
DO NOT park on this road or on the grounds next to any monuments. You will be towed. If parking at businesses or churches close to the Start/Finish, please be respectful of the properties.
St. Gerard Catholic Church, a one block from the start finish area will also provide parking and restrooms. The cost will be $5.00 cash only.
Information will be posted closer to race date.
To be updated shortly.
Before the start of the race, participants may store a bag in the "bag check" area near the start/finish area. Participants should place their belongings in a plastic bag and clearly label the bag with their race number. Please do not check valuables.
Bags will be available for pick-up after the race. Participants will need to show their race numbers to retrieve their bags. Bags that are not retrieved after the race will be thrown out or donated to charity.
Aid Stations on the Race Course
We encourage races to carry their favorite nutrition. Aid statoins will be set up based on current health and safety guildines (to be updated closer to the race date).
Transportation to the finish will be provided to any participant who cannot complete the race. For medical assistance on the course, or transportation to the finish, ask the nearest race volunteer. Professional medical personnel will be stationed at the start/finish line.
As a benefit to marathon and half marathon runners, we offer free pace teams led by experienced pacers for the following times (look for the pace time flags at the race start):
Half Marathon: 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45
Marathon: 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00
As a safety precaution, bicycle riders are highly discouraged from accompanying runners on the course. Runners who are not registered in the event should not accompany a participant. Any assistance to a participant, other than that provided at designated aid stations, may lead to disqualification. Disqualified participants will be ineligible for awards.
Spectators are essential race supporters. Please know how much we value their presence and energy. The capacity for spectators will be based on current health and safety guildines (to be updated closer to the race date).
Post Race Food
Food and beverage will be provided for race participants at the end of their race.
Awards ceremonies will be based on current health and safety guidelines.
